What is WIBN?
WIBN membership is for business women who own SME businesses, are self-employed or work as professional service providers for small businesses.
WIBN’s purpose is to create communities of business women who build strong business relationships. Members benefit from referring each other’s businesses, mutual support, collaborations and much more.
Why WIBN?
It works – Having launched in 2005, WIBN has a long history of effective networking across the UK. WIBN is the UK’s leading women’s networking organisation with 95% of our members renewing their membership after their first year.
Networking in a ‘safe’ environment – Many of our members tell us the reason they love WIBN is because it feels like a ‘safe’ environment. We’ve all been in groups where we feel intimidated or find it difficult to break into the bravado. Women tend to be naturally empathetic and since most of us have suffered from imposter syndrome at some time or another, if you’re feeling nervous about networking, women only groups are a great place to start your networking journey. Being part of a women’s networking group will not only build your business contacts, but it will also build your confidence.
Professional Exclusivity – WIBN networking groups offer professional exclusivity. This means that whether you’re a conveyancing solicitor or a life-coach, an accountant or a graphic designer, you can rest assured that there won’t be another businesswoman doing the same as you in your group. The benefit of this is you don’t feel you have to compete with someone else in the room for business plus you won’t feel compromised if a contact of yours outside WIBN is looking for a recommendation and two group members offer the same service.
Local networking, National reach – WIBN is a national networking organisation with local and national groups. This means, as a member, you join a group of like-minded local businesswomen that meets on a monthly basis at a local hospitality venue. Plus you’re part of a larger UK-wide network, which gives you almost endless opportunities to connect, with national online and in person meetings available.
Daytime meetings – Our meetings are held in the working day and in school hours to accommodate the needs of our members who have children or simply prefer not to have early morning meetings.
Who is WIBN for?
We attract all types of business, part time to full time or who have a side hustle to promote, from new to established businesses, sole traders to corporates, and we warmly welcome members from all cultures and genders to network the way women network. Our strength is through the diversity of our membership and the support that our members can offer each other in the structured format that our meetings provide.
Whether you are new to networking, or a seasoned pro – if you are interested in building business relationships then we are the right place for you.
Meetings local to you take place in Redditch, Bromsgrove and Solihull.
