We’ve tried several new ones but we are really impressed with the Yorkshire Fat Rascal. A cross between a rock cake and a scone, delicious on its own slightly warm or with jam and butter. Synonymous with Bettys Tea Rooms in Yorkshire their recipe is a secret but after a few tweaks and a few albeit delicious attempts we think we’ve cracked it, so ours will be ‘Very Fat Rascals’ indeed.
