As a result of the General Election in July, many of the local constituencies have elected a new member of parliament and many residents have not yet had the chance to speak with their MP. Therefore, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce want to give local business owners and employees the chance to meet their local MP for a Q&A session.
As a politically neutral organisation, the Chamber shows no bias to any political party, therefore, the Chamber are giving local residents and employees the chance to partake in a Q&A Session with representatives from the Labour Party, Green Party and Conservative Party. Each Q&A session will take place relative to the MP’s constituency. To attend your local MP’s Q&A session your business or employer must be located within the constituency that you wish to attend.
This a good opportunity to ask your local MP’s questions in a formal environment and will be approximately 1 hour long. The Q&A session will all take place after the Autumn Budget. The MP’s taking part are:
- Tom Collins, MP for Worcester City (Labour Party) – University Business School – 1stNovember
- Ellie Chowns MP for North Herefordshire (Green Party) – Online – 1stNovember
- Chris Bloore MP for Redditch (Conservative Party) – Faun Zoeller – 8thNovember
- Bradley Thomas MP for Bromsgrove (Conservative Party) – GT Access – 8thNovember
