The ultimate battle of the businesses!

Following the success of the 2018 Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Games, the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire is inviting local businesses to take part in activities on dry land and in the water this July.

On Wednesday 10 July, businesses from across the two counties will have the opportunity to escape the office, participate in new and exciting team building opportunities and network with other local businesses.
Hosted by the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, the Business Games will provide the opportunity to enjoy fun and friendly competition, boost staff morale as well as raising the profile of organisations at a local and regional level.

Open to all businesses across the two counties, organisations will enjoy non-traditional team-building and outdoor activities including raft building, archery and kayaking as well as stand up paddle boarding.
Emma Gardner, Project Manager for Adult Participation at the Sports Partnership Herefordshire and Worcestershire, said “This event is our chance to facilitate exciting physical activity opportunities for local businesses, as well as making an active change to their daily routine. The Games are open to all employees, regardless of their ability, and are designed to showcase activities that employees may have never experienced before.”

“As recent research suggests the importance of physical activity and the outdoors for positive mental health, the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Games provide the perfect opportunity to alleviate stress, reduce absenteeism and boost company morale.”

The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Games is due to take place at Lakeside Campus (formerly Top Barn) on Wednesday 10 July, from 5pm.
