What does the 3D Print Academy offer?
The 3D Print Academy is the first Stratasys accredited 3D print training centre in the UK. We offer a wide range of 3D print courses including PolyJet, FDM and bespoke sessions which are available at both a beginner and an advanced level. Whilst customers of Tri-Tech 3D receive substantial operator training when they purchase a 3D printer, we identified how customers benefited further comprehensive advanced training, in order to make the most of their investment. The 3D Print Academy offers an enhanced level of training where clients are shown how to fully operate their machine, how to maintain it and how to optimise the whole process.
What’s more, research into technological skill uptake has found that newly-learned digital skills have an average shelf life of just two years. This means that in order to maintain a safe and effective working environment, employees should be receiving training at least every two years to maintain their knowledge base and technical skill set. At the 3D Print Academy, our expert trainers are qualified to empower delegates to take charge of their technical knowledge capabilities and use it to help push their business towards industry 4.0.
Who are the trainers?
Our 3D print trainers are experts in their field. They’ve worked in their respective industries for a number of years and have a great deal of technical knowledge and a specialist practical skill-set to match. In addition, we are the first company in the UK to have sent our trainers on a Stratasys certified course which enables us to not only deliver world-class training but also issue official Stratasys certificates on completion.
Where do the courses take place?
The 3D Print Academy is based at our Stoke-on-Trent 3D hub where we have the most suitable facilities to operate a 3D print course. However, we also offer on-site training if required.
Building on the complete design office solution…
As the Stanford Marsh Group, we can now offer the next level on from the complete design office solution, beginning with CAD software, consultancy and Autodesk accredited training from Cadspec, to Wide format solutions with Stanford Marsh, through to our in-house additive manufacturing services with the 3D Print Bureau; and when the time is right to invest, Tri-Tech 3D are able to supply both Stratasys and Desktop Metal machines as well as expert installation and maintenance services. The 3D Print Academy builds on these services by providing our customers with the right knowledge and tools to build upon their additive manufacturing processes and grow their business.
