The college’s new Employer Patron Scheme

Herefordshire Ludlow and North Shropshire College is launching its new Employer Patron Scheme, which is a free-to-join initiative to bring businesses and education closer together, to strengthen local skills opportunities and long-term partnerships across The Marches.

The Patron Scheme asks employers to work collaboratively with the college to support student development, shape curriculum, and engage with their future workforce. In exchange, they can take advantage of a range of benefits and networking opportunities.

Collaborative partnership
Becoming a Patron offers businesses the opportunity to:
• Influence skills development and curriculum design
• Access their future workforce through placements, apprenticeships and engagement
• Raise brand visibility across college platforms
In return, Patrons can select from a range of rewards, including:
• Business promotion across college channels up to three times a year
• Use of college business suites for meetings or training (subject to availability)
• A complimentary graduation ticket (subject to availability)
• Dining experiences at college restaurants
• Invitations to Patron dinners and awards evenings
• Annual recognition as a college patron

These partnerships will help ensure learners develop relevant, work-ready skills, while employers build their future workforce.

Join the Patron Scheme
The scheme is free to join, and businesses can choose how they engage based on their capacity and interests.
