Local insurance broker Sutcliffe & Co. is delighted to announce its sponsorship of Worcester Music Festival for 2025, returning to make a noise in venues all across the city over the weekend of 12th – 14th September. The non-profit making festival is designed to champion live music for the local community and support emerging artists, whilst raising funds for a particular charity each year.
The aim of the festival, which has raised over £60,000 for charity in its 17 year history, is to encourage new audiences to engage with live music, listen to new acts and help to make live music accessible to all ages. Amateur photographers of any age or experience can also enter an annual photography competition.
A core value of Sutcliffe & Co. is to support the local community and the firm is proud to have associations with several Worcestershire events and charities. This year they also announced a three-year sponsorship of Worcester City Runs which takes place over the same weekend as Worcester Music Festival. With both events attracting thousands of visitors to the city it promises to be a fantastic weekend.
Managing Director of Sutcliffe and Co, Duncan Sutcliffe, commented:
“We are passionate about supporting local events, and we are excited as a firm to be sponsoring a weekend full of sport and culture, bringing vibrancy and excitement into our wonderful city. Not to forget it is all for some great causes, with fundraising taking place across the whole weekend from both Worcester Music Festival and Worcester City Runs. These events represent what a community is all about and what can be achieved when local stakeholders collaborate for the benefit of the wellbeing of others.”
If you are participating in the Worcester City Runs, why not make a weekend of it with family and friends, and visit some of the amazing venues in Worcester and watch some great performances?
