Support Childhood Cancer this September

The start of September is often a time of excitement when ‘back to school’ arrives. A time for a new chapter in a child’s life.

Sadly, there will be many children this September who will not be returning to school with their friends, either because they are undergoing treatment or if they have sadly passed away.

In the UK, a child or young person is diagnosed with cancer every two hours. Survival rates of childhood cancer are improving, but there is still a long way to go.

This September, the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust would love you to help join them in raising awareness of childhood cancer.

The GKCCT have launched a campaign to support Childhood Cancer Awareness month and would like to invite everyone who has been affected or is currently facing childhood cancer to dedicate a ribbon on our special virtual tree to show your support for the biggest non accidental cause of death of children in the UK.

If you do not know a child that has been affected but would like to help, why not buy a ribbon and dedicate it to a child you know that is not affected or simply to “help raise awareness.”

Funds raised from this campaign will help the GKCCT continue their vital work and will help them to achieve so much more in the fight against childhood cancer.
