FREE Skills Training
Introducing our Skills Solutions
Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce are delivering free training courses to individuals living in Wychavon, Worcester City and Wyre Forest. These new training courses will be booked on a first-come, first-serve basis to residents in these districts. Based on the Worcestershire LSIP findings, employers identified two large skills gaps that are both a need and a necessity in the workplace.

We have designed two new training courses based on these needs:
IT for the Workplace
Professional Skills for the Workplace
Workplace skills are increasingly recognised as critical for success in personal and professional settings, whilst basic digital skills are now expected for most roles in order to navigate and work effectively in a digital society.
Available Training Courses
These two training courses have been designed to support any employees, but in particular those starting work, returning to work, unemployed or anyone with these particular needs identified.
Individuals can attend both training courses, however spaces are limited therefore we’d encourage booking as soon as possible.
IT for the Workplace
1 Day Training Course
Participants will gain proficiency in computer navigation, basic functions, and the utilisation of fundamental office programmes, empowering them to enhance efficiency and foster professional development, including:
- Internet Safety and Security
- Exploring Microsoft packages (Teams, Excel, Word and Outlook).
