Real World Consultancy Welcomes New Business Growth Manager and Moves to The Kiln

Worcester based company Real World Consultancy has now taken a big step forward in the business world and are excited to share their growth story.

Starting on her own in 2018 trading as ‘Real World Coaching’, owner Emma White set up her own company based on her passion for people, behaviour, and strategy. Emma worked to help businesses and people grow, lead their teams, and adapt their strategy to achieve their full potential. She has now recruited 4 experienced consultants on board as part of the RWC team. Real World Coaching then transformed into Real World Consultancy in 2019. With this growth and new contracts rolling in, Real World Consultancy was able to move from being a sole trader onto having the new and exciting title of ‘Real World Consultancy Limited’, and began trading as a registered limited company in April 2021.

“I have worked with the support of consultants helping me with delivery since 2019, which has been amazing and has helped me to grow flexibly from being a team of one. However, growth leads to the pinch on day to day and can stagnate the growth.” – Emma White

Emma then needed an extra pair of hands to help organise all her ‘brain dumps’, write down her great ideas and turn them into visuals. As a small business, she could not afford to employ full-time on her own, which lead her to seek out alternative help that is offered by Worcestershire. With the help of Worcestershire’s Here2Help Graduate Scheme, Real World Consultancy now has its first employee, their new Business Growth Manager – Kateryna Trokhymchuk!

“Having the opportunity to bring on a business growth manager to help take over some of the day-to-day activity, enabling me to refocus on growth seemed like a no-brainer, especially when it is something I work with my clients on pretty much daily! Kateryna has made a huge impact in her first four weeks and I am delighted to have her to fly the RWC flag with me. I am proud of our mini team, and our extended team of consultants – and I cannot wait to see what we can achieve between us on the rest of 2021!” – Emma White

In December 2020, Kateryna graduated with her MSc in Marketing and Brand Management from Oxford Brookes University. She spent her time throughout university working alongside SME’s and was sure she wanted to be part of a company that supports local SME’s in their local area. Real World Consultancy was a great fit for her as they have worked as part of schemes such as Worcestershire Innovation WINN, as well as privately with multiple SMEs across the county.

“The job search through the pandemic has been a tough one for many, it leads me to say I am more than grateful to have joined such an amazing and supportive team, and excited to contribute and help Emma on her mission to grow RWC.” – Kateryna Trokhymchuk

The final step that came with the ‘big move’ for Real World Consultancy was moving to The Kiln in Worcester as their permanent business address. This was especially exciting for Emma as she has been a sponsor and member of The Kiln for many years. The RWC team are loving being based in the heart of Worcester, working amongst the hustle of other businesses, and popping out to the shops at lunch!

As we are nearing the end to one of the weirdest times of our lives, its lovely to see local businesses growing and being back in an environment where people can work together and interact. Real World Consultancy wanted to share how the support from the county and local initiatives has helped their business thrive, in hopes of inspiring other local SMEs to look for help when they need it!
