Prometheus Medical are delighted to announce that their very own Dr. Sarah Richardson has been appointed to the interim Faculty Advisory Board of Rural, Remote and Humanitarian Healthcare at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
The Faculty’s primary objective is to “improve the health outcomes of individuals living and working in remote, rural, austere and life-threatening areas of the world.” Established in response to the need identified within the public health arena, it defines, reviews, and sets competence standards for personnel delivering #healthcare in remote and rural environments.
Dr Sarah Richardson will be involved in developing leadership, innovation, standard-setting in education, and training in the fast-developing field of remote, rural and humanitarian healthcare across the globe.
