Haygrove Community Gardens

Fundraise

Haygrove Community Gardens charity supports adults and children who would benefit from the therapeutic nature of horticulture, by engaging them in growing healthy fruit and vegetables, and to provide accessible green space for education and enjoyment.

Our first community garden in Ross-on-Wye is a three-acre site with raised beds, growing tunnels, green woodworking area, a meadow and a kitchen where we can support people to prepare the food that we grow. We currently provide 1600 hours of support to 50+ adults and over 1000 children a year, with the help of over 100 volunteers. We are building on this success by developing a new community project in Ledbury, Herefordshire, where we have an active gardening group and a new site in development.

We are looking for like-minded businesses to partner with us so that we can offer our therapeutic environments to those who don’t currently have access to a safe, calm place of nature. We would welcome donations of funds, materials, advice or volunteer time, towards our new project in the Ledbury area and our existing garden in Ross-on-Wye.
