Volunteer DIY Support Needed for Lee’s Place (Community Power’s Hot Food Hub for the Homeless)

Could your team spare a few hours to help make a real difference?

At Lee’s Place, we provide a safe and welcoming environment for people experiencing homelessness. To keep our space comfortable and well-maintained for our guests, we regularly need a helping hand with small DIY and maintenance tasks.

We’re inviting Chamber of Commerce businesses and members to pledge some volunteer DIY support hours. Whether it’s a couple of hours from a skilled team member or a small group volunteering together, your support would make a huge impact.

Examples of tasks may include:

Painting and decorating
Minor repairs and maintenance
Assembling furniture
Small improvement projects to enhance our space

Businesses can volunteer as a one-off team activity, a regular pledge, or whenever time allows.

By donating your time and skills, you’ll be helping us maintain a space that offers dignity, warmth, and support to people when they need it most.

If your business could pledge some DIY volunteer hours, we would love to hear from you. Together we can help keep Lee’s Place a safe and welcoming place for our community.
