Description

Set against the stunning backdrop of Crumplebury Farm, our much-anticipated Women’s Business Conference brings together more than 100 business professionals from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire for a day of inspiration, connection, and empowerment. Be inspired by a dynamic line-up of exceptional female speakers who will share their insights, experiences, and strategies for success. Enjoy a delicious two-course buffet and make the most of valuable networking opportunities.

Dr Annette Daly, Chief Executive Officer of YMCA Worcestershire
Originally from Northern Ireland, Annette brings experience as a teacher, psychology lecturer, church education director, and now CEO of YMCA Worcestershire. Passionate about empowering others, she’s recently explored the power of space for reflection, creativity, and clarity. At the conference, she’ll share how this concept has supported YMCA’s journey and how it can be a valuable tool in both work and life.

Kersten Catella, Sales & Marketing Director at Wyevale Nurseries
With over 20 years in horticulture, Kersten is one of the few women at director level in the UK’s commercial plant production sector. Rising through hands-on roles to boardroom leadership, she now shapes strategy at the 95-year-old Wyevale Nurseries and advocates for women in a traditionally male industry. A qualified leadership coach, she blends commercial insight with a respect for people, nature, and long-term growth. At the Women’s Business Conference, she’ll share lessons on resilience, career growth, and the unexpected power of being underestimated.

Dawn Owen, Zero Bs Coaching
Dawn Owen is a Zero BS Coach helping driven women in business achieve their next Best Month Ever through bold strategy and deep mindset shifts. A survivor of tough personal and professional challenges, she knows how to turn obstacles into growth.
Known for her high-energy, no-fluff approach, Dawn helps clients ditch self-doubt, take action, and create lasting success. If you’re ready to break through and level up, she’s here to make it happen.

Jess Fassnidge, Captain of Worcester City Women FC
Jess Fassnidge is the club captain for Worcester City Women FC, who compete in the National Women’s League (WNL) Tier 4. From starting her football journey in an all-boys’ team wearing oversized kit to gaining a soccer scholarship and living her ‘Bend it Like Beckham’ dream. Jess now works as a Sport & Exercise Science lecturer at the University of Worcester as well as being the Academy Manager for Science for Sport. At the conference, she will share her journey through leadership and how females who participate in sport can become an asset in any industry.
