Primrose Hospice volunteering with some added sparkle!

Every year Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre are supported by hundreds of volunteers who spend their free time doing everything from gardening to fundraising.

After setbacks from the pandemic, Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre is excited to hold their annual ball, which this year has a fabulous Roaring 20’s theme. The Hospice will be running their iconic raffle with prizes donated from a huge variety of local businesses.

The volunteer who has the huge job of gathering hundreds of prizes is Elaine. She has been volunteering for Primrose Hospice for five years and for the past few years has spent hours of her free time using her friendly charm to acquire hundreds of prizes.
Over the years they’ve had a huge variety of prizes donated including cruise holidays and beautiful items for your home! Every year their raffle alone raises around £2500 which goes straight back to Primrose Hospice so they can support more people in our local community.

Elaine – Volunteer for Primrose Hospice said: “The raffle is often a big draw for our community as some of the prizes we’ve had over the years have been superb! I am amazed and appreciative of people’s generosity and their support for Primrose Hospice and we thank them from the bottom of our hearts.”
