Online & Interactive Cyber Workshop for Herefordshire Businesses

The Cyber Quarter supported by the University of Wolverhampton and the Hereford Centre for Cyber and Security are proud to be delivering a newly developed suite of Online ERDF funded workshops for Herefordshire businesses.

These are free, informative and wholly interactive sessions covering four consecutive mornings where all matters concerning your business and the impact of Cyber are discussed.

In a time where cyber attacks and crime have hit new heights, businesses need now more than ever a strategy and understanding of recovery and resilience as they become more at risk of an attack. With the added pressures of remote working and reduced staff, a company’s senior management team need to understand more than ever the importance of maintaining a robust business continuity strategy and a positive external reputation.

Within these workshops we will be covering a range of topics delivered by invited experts and academics who will speak with you and discuss a range of topics from digital innovations for your business, protecting your staff and safeguarding remote working, to protecting your brand, your client database , and ensuring that you are able to be as resilient as possible in a world that has now turned to digital to ensure business survival.

Through these small closely organised cohorts of workshops Herefordshire businesses will be better informed of:

University of Wolverhampton Professor of Cyber Security, Prashant Pillai, said:

For some, utilising social media platforms is paramount to the success of their business but the increasing demand of their legal obligations can be baffling and many have found this part of the training particularly useful.”
