Nursery Children Send Care Packages to Armed Forces

Paintings, drawings, and cherished cards were created by children at Little Trinity Nursery in Kidderminster and added to an array of personal care packages destined for members of the armed forces serving overseas.

Manager Gaynor Carter explained: “We have a child in nursery whose father is in the armed forces and currently serving in the Middle East until the end of September so we thought it would be wonderful if we could do something to show our appreciation and support for all the many men and women serving our country and spending long periods of time away from their loved ones.

“We decided we would love to send care packages and invited our parents to donate items of toiletries and snacks and encouraged all our children, those in nursery and at home, to make pictures and cards with a message of thanks so that they could be included.”
