NMITE is delighted to announce that the first Masterclass: Lessons in Leadership of 2023 is taking place on Thursday 2nd February from 5pm – 6pm at their Blackfriars campus in Hereford.
The first speaker of the year will be Andrew Haines OBE, Chief Executive of Network Rail.
Andrew’s extensive career in the rail and transport industry started from his first job as a left luggage clerk in London. Since then, he has blazed a trail as a highly regarded industry leader with former roles including Managing Director of South West Trains, Managing Director of the Rail Division for First Group plc and Chief Executive of the Civil Aviation Authority. Andrew has also been tasked to lead the Great British Railways Transition Team – working across the industry to transform Great Britain’s railways.
Andrew was awarded an OBE in the 2016 New Year Honour’s list for services to transport and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, the Royal Aeronautical Society, the Institute of Railway Operators and the Permanent Way Institute.
