Six students have been funded by The Kazakhstan Government, Bolashak programme to spend three months at NMITE to undertake a programme focussed on Innovations in Mining Engineering and Technology. The organisers were particularly drawn to NMITE due to its expertise in challenge – led pedagogic model for engineering education and strong links to a wide range of industrial partners.
The course programme’s key focus is on innovation in engineering technology, specifically within Mining and Geotechnical fields and, in line with NMITE’s core principles, is made up of a combination of hands-on, challenge-based learning, industry-informed content and visits to industrial partners.
