Ledbury-based high tech coatings application company Cleftbridge Limited has agreed a financial deal with Ledbury Rugby Football Club for the next three years, as a lead sponsorship partner.
The money will help to support a grassroots rugby club that celebrates its 140th anniversary this year and has more than 15 teams including Minis, Juniors, women’s Touch rugby and men’s Senior rugby.
Peter Rieck, CEO at Cleftbridge Limited said;-
“ We are delighted to be supporting Ledbury Rugby Football Club. Rather than just being another company in Ledbury, the sponsorship allows us to have a much closer relationship with the town and local people. We have really bought in to the idea that it is a valuable local amenity and a hub; not only a rugby club. We believe the funding will help develop a wide variety of outdoor sports and healthy activities, for all ages, in our community. If this association increases local awareness of what Cleftbridge do as well, we have created a mutually beneficial partnership in Ledbury ”.
Cleftbridge provide specialist powder coating and wet paint applications to a wide range of product and equipment manufacturers nationwide, from automotive and motorsport, to medical and engineering, kitchens, furniture, military and aviation.
Roger Bateson, President at Ledbury RFC said;-
“ Having Cleftbridge on board helps us to maintain a solid infrastructure and commit to season-long endeavours across a range of sports including rugby, netball, football and American football. In addition, the club can continue to deliver community-focused activities, such as free rugby coaching in local schools, ‘Supastrikers’ toddlers’ football, a venue for junior football tournaments and even a ‘Walk and Talk’ Age Concern outreach programme. This is all good for Ledbury ”.
