Lynhales Hall Nursing Home, an award-winning care home in Herefordshire, proudly hosted a heartfelt Memory Walk to raise funds for The Alzheimer’s Society. The event united residents, family, friends, and staff in a beautiful display of community spirit. It occurred in the serene surroundings of Lynhales Hall’s picturesque grounds, which feature lush greenery and tranquil woods.
Despite the damp weather, participants embraced the day with enthusiasm and determination. They followed a scenic trail that highlighted the area’s stunning natural beauty. Overall, they raised an impressive £150 for this vital cause.
After the walk, participants enjoyed a delightful selection of refreshments, including a well-deserved cup of tea, homemade cake, warming soup, and tasty sandwiches, which were a hit among everyone present.
Nick Brown, Home Manager at Lynhales Hall, expressed his gratitude, stating, “It was inspiring to see so many come together for such an important cause. Despite the weather, everyone’s perseverance was a testament to our wonderful community. We are incredibly thankful to all who participated and donated.
