Worcestershire Apprenticeships are inviting local organisations to join their free webinar covering employing and supporting apprenticeships during the COVID-19 Lockdown relaxation.
COVID-19 has presented many challenges for businesses and as a result apprentices have been furloughed and encouraged to carry on their learning remotely. Now that the UK is relaxing these guidelines many employers are starting to think about bringing their staff back including apprentices.
The webinar on Monday 13 July will cover, bringing apprentices back into the workplace, the help and support available from training providers to assist staff apprentice development, guidance around how to remotely onboard new apprentices and finally 2020/21 recruitment for apprentices.
The webinar will feature some guest speakers including, Nigel Morgan, CEO of Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association and Linda Gittings, Apprenticeships and Qualifications Manager at Platform Housing Group. These speakers will be joined by Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire LEP who will be hosting the webinar.
Attendees of the webinar will have the exclusive chance to ask questions of the guest speakers during a live Q&A section of the webinar.
