Local Charity Expands with the Opening of “Ledbury Two” – A New Chapter in Support for Children and Adults with Neurological Disorders

Located in the heart of Ledbury, Ledbury Two represents a significant expansion for Megan Baker House (MBH), allowing the organisation to reach more families and meet increasing demand for its specialised programmes. The new facility will offer tailored support for children with conditions including cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions,

Lee Gough, Development Director said:

“The opening of Ledbury Two is a milestone for us and reflects both the growing recognition of the impact that conductive education can have for all age groups and the increasing demand for our services across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and beyond. We’re excited to expand our reach and provide even more children and adults with the skills, confidence, and independence they deserve.  Ledbury One and Two are the core facilities of the charity but we also operate a project called REACHOUT which delivers conductive education  at ten other venues including three schools ”.

The Ledbury Two opening performed by His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant for Herefordshire, Edward Harley, CBE, welcomed local funders, supporters, and dignitaries, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.  The new facility features purpose-built spaces designed to foster learning, development and wellbeing in a warm and supportive environment.

MBH was founded in 2002 for Megan Baker and three other children and now has over 200 families from across the region accessing its specialised services.
