Ballards LLP and Four Squared Recruitment continued their charitable partnership with a successful ‘Jingle and Mingle’ event hosted at Piston Gin Distillery following their charity run initiative last month.
The festive gathering attracted over 50 guests from across various business sectors, featuring a charity raffle that showcased the generosity of the business community. Suppliers, vendors, and relationship partners contributed an array of prizes, enhancing the fundraising potential of the evening. The event built on the momentum from November’s successful 10-mile charity run between the Droitwich and Worcester Waterside offices. The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, established in 2016 in memory of four-year-old Grace, focuses on funding research into rare childhood cancers and supporting affected families.
James Syree, CEO of Ballards LLP, reflected on the community collaboration: “Following our challenging charity run last month, the success of our Jingle and Mingle event demonstrates the strength of our business relationships. The generosity shown through raffle prize donations from our partners has been instrumental in maximising our fundraising impact.”
Emma Richardson, Managing Director of Four Squared Recruitment, emphasised the collective effort: “The tremendous support from our business network, from attendance to prize donations, showcases what we can achieve together. We’re delighted to have raised over £4,000 for such a vital cause, thanks to the generosity of everyone involved.”
Abbie Bissel-Blazier, Charity Fundraiser from Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust added: “The creativity and dedication shown through these varied fundraising activities has been truly inspiring. The raffle prizes donated by local businesses helped create an engaging evening that will make a real difference to families affected by childhood cancer.”
This latest initiative exemplifies how business networks can unite effectively to support important charitable causes, bringing hope and assistance to families facing challenging circumstances.
