Kidderminster school celebrates £10k National Lottery grant

Holy Trinity School and Sixth Form Centre is celebrating after being awarded £10,000 in National Lottery funding for its swimming pool Project Sunshine.

The school is thrilled to have secured a grant of £10,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund which will help towards the purchase of much needed new windows and fire doors for the school’s swimming pool.

A year-round facility supporting students learning to swim, many progressing on to compete at county and national level, it is also much-used by local swimming clubs and community groups.

The National Lottery Community Fund grant towards the total renovation costs, will now be added to by students who will help fundraise starting by taking part in a two-week sponsored swim as part of their regular swimming lessons.

The National Lottery Community Fund distributes money raised by National Lottery players for good causes and is the largest community funder in the UK.
