ISO Quality Services win award at Worcestershire Works Well event

Employers from around Worcestershire gathered at The Bank House Hotel for the Worcestershire Works Well (WWW) bi-annual event which took place on Wednesday 20 November.

The event was attended by businesses who are signed up to the Worcestershire Works Well scheme, which is a free accreditation scheme designed to support businesses to improve the health and well-being of their employees.

The focus was on celebrating the businesses who have reached accreditation and featured guest talks on the theme of “adding years to our life by adding life to our years.” A number of guest speakers featured at the event including representatives of Worcester Association of Carers, Yamazaki Mazak, Acute Hospital NHS Trust and more.

As well as celebrating accreditations, the event also presented the Outstanding Achievement Award, sponsored by Southco Manufacturing UK. The award recognises a business which has implemented a scheme which goes above and beyond what is required. This was won by ISO Quality Services for their innovative approach to mental health in the workplace, this included delivering Mental Health First Aid courses and workshops for the management team and regular one to one appointments with a mental health nurse for all staff to access within the workplace.

On their hard work to win the award, ISO Quality Services Director and WWW Champion, Debbie Farr, said: “Our people are our biggest asset. Improving their well-being has boosted their mental health and confidence. By providing support to them, we ensure that they consistently provide award-winning service to our clients.”
