Thursday 4th June 2020 should have been a day of huge celebration for ISO Quality Services Ltd but once again, COVID-19 threw a spanner in the works. The team had been looking forward to celebrating at their ’20 in 20’ party but instead were forced to postpone and celebrate their 20th anniversary virtually instead.
What you might not know is that the ISO specialists based in Worcester were originally founded in Dublin by Chairman, Peter Appleton, before turning their focus to the UK in 2003. At this time, Peter acted as Managing Director, Business Development Manager and Auditor all rolled in to one.
Today, the firm is now an award-winning, family run business with the support of Peter’s wife, Susan and daughters Debbie Farr and Jennifer Semini. Over the past two decades the company has grown steadily and now has a team of 19 office staff and 22 Business Associates, situated across the whole of the UK. Whilst their main focus remains within the UK, the company now operates internationally, having implemented ISO certifications in 23 countries across the world.
Peter comments: “Since starting the business back in 2000 I have watched it continue to grow and today I admire the enthusiasm of the team lead by my daughters and fellow Directors, Jennifer and Debbie.”
Jennifer adds: “We were all really disappointed not to have been able to celebrate with everyone at our ’20 in 20’ party but we’re really looking forward to hosting it next year.”
