ISO QSL Relaunches Award-Winning Bingo Box Challenge in Support of Worcester Foodbank

With the cost-of-living crisis deepening and an increasing number of individuals facing financial hardship, the need for support in our community has never been more pressing. Over the past year alone, foodbanks within the Trussell Trust network have distributed over 3.1 million emergency food parcels – an astonishing 94% increase in just five years.

Currently, one in seven people across the UK are struggling with hunger and are unable to afford basic essentials. In response to this growing need, Worcester Foodbank has reported a 29% rise in demand during 2022/23, providing essential support to 14,701 individuals.

In light of this crisis, local ISO consultants, ISO Quality Services are proud to announce the relaunch of their award-winning Bingo Box challenge, aimed at supporting Worcester Foodbank. With the main goal – to ensure more families in need have access to food this Christmas

How you can support Worcester Foodbank

The concept of the Bingo Box challenge is straightforward: by Friday, 24th November, participants are encouraged to complete a bingo sheet featuring the most urgently required items by Worcester Foodbank and to drop off their donations at ISO Quality Services headquarters in St. Johns, Worcester. Alternatively, individuals can donate a supermarket gift card, allowing the Foodbank to acquire precisely what they need.

Last year’s campaign was met with an overwhelming response, with nearly 50 Bingo Boxes donated, amounting to 345kg of food. These contributions helped Worcester Foodbank provide approximately 70 meals to individuals in crisis. Additionally, £575 was generously donated to support the Foodbank during the quieter months when donations are low.
