When the owner of D&G Security Systems, Darren Griffiths, saw the news that a local intensive care nurse, Sarah Banks, had experienced a burglary at her home while she slept in bed, following her 14 hour shift at the hospital where she worked, he instantaneously wanted to help.
Hearing of how the events of that night had left the nurse feeling vulnerable in her own home, Darren quickly responded by contacting Central News who put him in touch with the nurse to offer his services.
Darren offered to install CCTV free of charge into Sarah’s home and also set about contacting Gary Rogers of Pyronix Ltd, a leading manufacturer of electronic security systems in the intruder alarm market, to see if they would be able to help by donating an alarm system.
When Pyronix were told about Sarah‘s story, they too were happy to help and supplied an alarm free of charge.
D&G Security have now been able to install both security systems, at no cost to Sarah, and hope that in doing so they have been able to alleviate some of the anxieties Sarah has understandably been left with, having had such an awful experience and that it has given her some peace of mind and assisted in making her feel safe once again in her own home.
D&G would like to wish Sarah all the best for the future and would like to say how truly thankful we all are for the amazing work that she and all key workers are doing to support everyone during these unprecedented times.
