Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that it has been placed 20th in The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not for Profit Organisations to Work for 2020. The Chamber was placed at Number 20 out of 100 not for profit UK companies at a ceremony held in London last night.
The Times Top 100 rewards businesses that have exceptional investment in their employees, and the Chamber is delighted to retain this recognition for the third year in a row. The Chamber was also awarded with a special award for ‘Best Improver’ and also shortlisted for the Innovation in Engagement Practice award, which speaks of the ambition and vision the Chamber has.
The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is the only accredited Chamber in the UK to feature on the prestigious list for 2020.
Commenting on the award, Sharon Smith, Chief Executive, said: “I am delighted that the Chamber has been recognised on a national scale, this year is the highest rank we have achieved in The Sunday Times Top 100 list, which recognises the high level of support offered internally.
“To also be commended as Best Improver is a great honour as it shows our vision of growing as a Chamber in order to provide more support to our Members. For businesses who aren’t Members of the Chamber this award will also show the hard work each department provides to ensure businesses in the region have the support they need to thrive and grow.”
