House of Coffee Welcoming customers to ‘Eat Out to Help Out’

A much-loved Worcester high street café is urging loyal and new customers to make the most out of the scheme.

House of Coffee, situated next to the Elgar statue on the Worcester High Street, has joined the government’s ‘Eat Out to Help Out’ scheme and is hoping customers will make the most of the discounts available as they return to work following a tough few months.

The independent coffee shop, which serves a range of Artisan coffees and speciality teas, closed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and are now incredibly excited to be getting back to work. With the government’s scheme in place, the team are hoping that they’ll be able to attract the attention of locals to support them.

Tom Gaunt, Chef and Owner of House of Coffee, comments: “We’re proud to have such a loyal customer base in Worcester and we’ve sincerely missed serving them over the past few months. Now that we’re back open, we’ve put in place additional safety measures to ensure all of our customers feel safe and comfortable as they start getting out and about again.”

Indeed, House of Coffee are Covid-secure and have had a 5* health & safety review since opening.

Tom continues:

“The team and I are hoping the Eat Out to Help Out scheme will enable even more people get back to doing what they love. We’ll be offering the 50% discount (up to £10) across our full menu and want to encourage as many people as possible to take advantage.

“We’ve got much more planned for the next few months too. We’ve been developing our events space and are planning to host musical events as and when we’re allowed. But, in the meantime, all of our customers, and their furry friends, can often enjoy the sounds of the talented buskers who usually perform just outside.”

The pet-friendly café is fully licensed and offers all-day dining, serving a whole host of sweet treats, delectable lunches and even provides catering packages for other local businesses who are looking for a midday treat for their teams or a free venue for their events.

House of Coffee has the best playlist in town – as Tom also DJ’s when he’s not busy cooking – so give him a wave as you pass by or pop in for something a little bit funky on your next trip to Worcester.

Tom and the team welcome table bookings but are also able to cater for walk-ins and takeaway. To book a table, please email [email protected] or call 01905 20990.
