Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has released the Quarterly Economic Survey Report for Q2 2024, supported by Worcestershire County Council.
The Quarterly Economic Survey is a comprehensive analysis of economic data collected from a diverse range of businesses across different sectors in the UK. The Q2 2024 report highlights key indicators, economic activities, and sentiments of UK businesses.
Some key figures from the report include;
- 25% of respondents reported that they have increased their workplace in the last three months, compared to 22% last quarter.
- 36% of businesses reported they had experienced an increase in sales in the last three months. This is up from 29% seeing an increase in sales in Q1
- 30% of businesses reported an increase in their cashflow over the last three months, compared to 26% in Q1
