Rotherwood Healthcare’s Lynhales Hall in Lyonshall and Kington Court in Kington celebrated Care Home Open Week with their own celebratory Care Home Open Day events. Known for their award-winning Residential, Nursing, and Dementia Care, the homes opened their doors to visitors, offering complimentary refreshments, live entertainment, and guided tours showcasing their exceptional facilities, luxurious surroundings, and devoted staff.
Lynhales Hall was a vision of beauty, adorned with elegant decorations and bubbly flowing freely. The atmosphere was vibrant, with singing, dancing, and laughter. Donna, a hilarious ventriloquist and talented singer, entertained guests, making the day truly memorable. A delicious buffet featuring scrumptious homemade cakes added to the day’s delights.
Kington Court embraced a traditional tea party theme, where guests enjoyed afternoon tea served in antique china. The spread included scrumptious finger sandwiches, cream scones, Black Forest cupcakes, and mini fruit tarts. Donna the ventriloquist also visited Kington Court, bringing plenty of giggles and fun to the celebration. The staff were especially thrilled to welcome long-time friends of the home, Cecily and Gertrude, who brought the first residents to Kington Court in the early 2000s, including Lorraine, the grandmother of Kington Court’s Administrator, Kate.
