Healthwatch making a difference in Herefordshire

Healthwatch Herefordshire is looking forward to another productive year as the people’s champion for health and care services.  Building on the premise that the patient and community voice should be at the centre of health and care services being delivered, Healthwatch is dedicated to ensuring a stronger voice for all and holding services to account. We are passionate about serving particular groups in our communities who experience inequalities.

This year Healthwatch will develop and deliver its ambitious 2023 strategy. Priorities include tackling health inequalities, hearing the voice of children and families and continuing to spearhead the Herefordshire Community Partnership. The partnership brings together countywide public, voluntary and community groups for partnership working, ensuring that services are delivered in the best way possible with people at the heart of it.

To help them achieve this ambitious strategy, Healthwatch are looking for a Chair and Non-Executive Directors to join their Board.  These are volunteer roles and require a time commitment of between 4-8 days per year. Applicants must have excellent leadership skills and vision with experience of good governance and expertise in either finance, children and young people or social care.

To apply, applicants should send a CV and cover letter to info@healthwatchherefordshire.co.uk
