Guide to the Master Interview

Engagement begins before a candidate is offered a job. Whole books have been written, and websites created, around telling job candidates what questions they can expect when they attend a job interview.

This is only possible because interview questions are predictable, because most interviewers ask very similar questions to everyone else in the same position.

The best interview questions are ones that the candidate could not have been expecting. These are not questions designed to “catch the candidate out”, but they are meant to be challenging. This is to ensure that the candidate answers truthfully and has to think on his/her feet. Moreover, you will find that your ideal candidate will enjoy being asked questions like these.
