Today, months of hard work finally came to fruition for students of Herefordshire College as they celebrated their graduation.
Over 70 students joined with guests, course leaders, VIPs and others for the prestigious ceremony which took place at Hereford Cathedral this afternoon.
Principal and Chief Executive David Williams and Guest of Honour Cllr Jonathan Lester, Leader of Herefordshire Council, handed out the graduation certificates and Learner of the Year awards.
Attendees enjoyed music performed by Herefordshire’s own Minerva String Quartet.
To conclude the ceremony, The Revd Preb Kay Garlick led a short ecumenical service before leading the party out of the Cathedral.
David Williams said:
‘Today’s event marks the culmination of months of hard work for our students. It’s great to see graduates and colleagues coming together to share in the celebration and reflect on what has been achieved over the last year.
‘I would like to congratulate our students on their commitment and wish them the very best of luck for the future.’
