Footnotes UK joins the Chamber and raises money for St Richards Hospice

Footnotes UK is a locally based private podiatry practice, boasting 4 podiatrists with over 25 years of NHS and private sector experience. Footnotes UK was established in 1999 by business owner Racheal Sharman.

Starting in Kidderminster, Racheal moved Footnotes UK to St John’s, Worcester where she built a loyal patient base. In 2015, Racheal retired from the NHS and relocated to London Road, Worcester to focus entirely on expanding Footnotes UK.

As well as business owner and podiatrist, Racheal Sharman, we also have podiatrists Philippa Ball, Dawn Hyam and Emma Crean as part of the Footnotes UK team. Philippa has over 20 years of podiatry experience, specialising in biomechanics. Philippa offers a full range of foot and ankle treatments including acupuncture, biomechanical assessment, orthotics, insoles, ultrasound therapy and muscle rehabilitation.

Dawn has been a practicing podiatrist for the past 16 years, and is a lead musculoskeletal specialist. Dawn is highly skilled in assessing, diagnosing, treating, rehabilitating, and preventing abnormalities of the feet, ankles and lower limbs.

Emma is the newest member of our team, graduating in 2019. Emma works for the NHS 2 and a half days a week and spends the rest of her week doing home visits for Footnotes UK. Our home visit patients are very fond of Emma; she is caring, friendly, and compassionate whilst providing high-quality care for our patients.

Footnotes UK raises money for St.Richard’s Hospice at our clinic, by selling books and painting nails. If anyone is interested in donating books or having their nails painted please contact practice manager, Zoe Waddoups, on 07974 650775. We offer the nail painting every day as part of a podiatry appointment and Zoe is in the clinic 5 days a week to take book donations.
