Fellowship awarded to popular local businessman and Chair of WLEP

As part of this year’s graduation ceremonies, Mark Stansfeld, local entrepreneur and Chair of the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (WLEP), was named a Fellow of the University of Worcester following his outstanding work and over 30 years’ experience in his field.

As well as chairing Airband, giffgaff and previously working closely with the likes of 02 UK, Mark has a wealth of experience in telecoms and technology, and helping businesses to become some of the fastest growing in the country.

From his time spent in role as Chair of WLEP, Mark has played an essential role in driving the 5G Testbed in Worcestershire – allowing the county to be at the forefront of the next technological revolution – and changing how we communicate in the future.

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate Mark on his exceptional achievement, and looks forward to continuing to work closely with him as we integrate 5G into the county.
