Darren Wilkins, says “It’s a real honour to be joining the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust team as a Trustee as it’s a charity which is very close to my heart, as my sister Debbie, the owner of Happy Steps in Worcester taught little Grace Kelly to dance. Since I’ve started supporting GKCCT through fundraising and events, I’ve seen first-hand what an amazing charity it is and the invaluable support they give families in their darkest hour when given a cancer diagnosis”.

Darren adds, “I’m looking forward to bringing my experience and expertise as a business owner to support the ethos of GKCCT ‘Because the children of today all deserve a tomorrow’. Many thanks to Jen Kelly and the board of Trustees for given me this unique opportunity.”

Dr Jen Kelly, CEO of the Grace Kelly Trust explains,  “We are delighted to welcome Darren Wilkins to our trustee board at the Grace Kelly Trust. As a hugely respected local businessman, Darren and his whole family have supported our charity in so many ways making it even more special. From volunteering to collect Christmas trees, printing signs, sponsoring events to volunteering his wife to do the Worcester run for us!”

Jen adds, “As a charity, we have so many local families that rely on us for support. With our trustees, the charity simply cannot run. Becoming a trustee of the charity is a purely voluntary role and we are so grateful to him for giving up his valuable time to share his business expertise and guidance. Welcome to the team Darren.”
