The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust have launched a new initiative to showcase all of their corporate supporters, giving them the opportunity to shine and shout about how they are giving back to their local community and supporting the charity.
Our monthly Spotlight on Support initiative will each time feature a different local business that has supported the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust. This support may have been from a financial donation, holding a fundraising event, taking part in a challenge or from pro bono work.
For March we are delighted to announce that our ‘Spotlight on Support’ company is City Signs.
City Signs are a second generation, family run signage and display firm based in Worcester. Established over 60 years. They are at the heart of the Worcestershire community providing high quality signage and display solutions.
They have supported GKCCT in a number of creative ways to not only fundraise to help support families in need but also to raise awareness of childhood cancers. They have donated £10 for each vehicle livery we have carried out, dressed as ladybirds for Wear Red days and Spotty for Dotty day, supported our Christmas jumper day’s and provided free signage for the GKCCT HQ and promotional events.
Darren from City Signs comments: “There is a family link to the charity through the eldest sister Debbie at Happy Steps, who taught Grace to dance which means we have a deep-rooted connection to the Trust. All being well we have various fundraising plans in the pipeline as we wish to continue to support this amazing charity as much as we can”.
