Chamber member Ruby Edwards of You Do Better is delighted to be a part of the award-winning Safer Streets project by West Mercia Police, that has been honoured with a prestigious Regional Award.

West Mercia Police Hereford Safer Streets project, which secured a NPCC Regional VAWG Award in September 2023, recognised its outstanding dedication to addressing violence against women and girls. Ruby and You Do Better Ltd previously managed numerous successful campaigns aimed at social change, including the VAWG campaign in South Worcestershire.
As Campaign Manager, Ruby was responsible for devising and executing various initiatives that advanced the goals of the Safer Streets campaign aimed to tackle Violence against Women and Girls. The team’s innovative thinking significantly contributed to the campaign’s success, creating greater awareness and fostering a stronger community response to this critical issue.
Ruby and the team worked alongside Inspector Julie Watson, who said:
“Ruby’s input to the campaign for SS4 was a key element of our project. Her commitment and expertise have been invaluable in our efforts to address violence against women and girls. This accolade is well-deserved recognition of her work in supporting the project and West Mercia Police. Your input with the campaign for SS4 was a key element of our project.
