When Selcraft UK received the first enquiry for a “biscuit” medal from Carr’s – the well-known British biscuit and cracker brand – they were immediately interested and keen to work to fulfill their wishes.
Once budgets had been agreed work was set to begin to evaluate how they could replicate the subtle features and brand into a metal medal.
With the benefit of computer technology, allied to time served craft skills, Selcraft were able to create a virtual image of how the biscuit medal would appear. Once made, the client expressed much satisfaction with the final outcome.
The medal finish is electroplated satin nickel which gives a soft and non-reflective appearance that allows the nuances and subtle detailing within the design to be clearly seen and appreciated by Carr’s.
