Botany Bay wins National Award!

The team at Redditch garden centre Botany Bay Nurseries are immensely proud to be winners at a prestigious awards. Botany Bay won the Bronze Award for the GTN Greatest Garden Centre Christmas Promotion in their Greatest Christmas Awards 2025. This family-run garden centre in Astwood Bank was a finalist in three categories, rubbing shoulders with many of the largest garden centres in the country.

The award was for their Creative Christmas Festival during which the garden centre displayed fantastic Santa figures decorated by children at 18 local primary and first schools. This festival has been running for 3 years, growing in size each year and proving very popular with the schools and garden centre visitors alike.

Jamie Ratcliffe, managing director of Botany Bay, said: “We are immensely proud. To be recognised as one of the best in the country is a phenomenal achievement. “We couldn’t hold this festival every year without the support of our local schools and the teachers and staff who put time aside to take part. We are so grateful for their support. This award means so much to our amazing team and we are so grateful for this recognition of their hard work.”

Botany Bay celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2025, so this award tops off what was a really special year.

The Garden Centre Awards are run by leading trade magazine Garden Trade News. The GTN team visited hundreds of centres across the UK during the 2025 festive season to find out more about the wonderful teams who light up the winter months with magical displays and seasonal events.
