Autumn Budget Briefing 2021

Rishi Sunak sets out his Budget on 27 October 2021 against a backdrop of unprecedented economic disruption caused by the pandemic and record-breaking public debt. We have already had a mini-Budget with the announced 1.25% tax hike in National Insurance and dividends tax from next April, and the suspension of the pension triple lock.

What else can we expect the Chancellor to unveil as we continue to face a challenging winter ahead? There are big tax increases coming next April, but are we likely to see a booster tax rise in the autumn?

We’re partnering with Bishop Fleming for their insightful Budget update, where we will highlight the key announcements and points to note.
