Active Herefordshire & Worcestershire Club Support Webinar

The Covid-19 outbreak has already had a huge impact on what we, as individuals do, as well as the sport and physical activity sector as a whole. Whilst the coming months remain uncertain, as the strategic lead for sport and physical activity across the two counties, Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire is committed to supporting clubs, coaches, volunteers and the professional workforce to adapt to changes, and thrive as a sector beyond the pandemic.

Join Steve Brewster (Chief Executive Officer at Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire) and Niall Judge (Sport England’s Clubs & Coaching Development Manager) for an online webinar on Thursday 14 May 2020 from 6.30-7.30pm.

The first webinar of this series aims to improve our understanding of the concerns facing the sector, provide ideas for innovation and allow clubs and organisations to shape our future direction and inform our priorities. Active Herefordshire and Worcestershire would like to provide an opportunity for clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers and physical activity providers across Herefordshire and Worcestershire to come together to discuss the current and future situation of sport and physical activity across the two counties.

In the webinar, they will:

  • Share local and national information surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic
  • Listen and understand the challenges facing your club/community organisation in order to identify ways in which you can be supported
  • Begin to consult with our local clubs and organisations around our enhanced offer
