Whether you’re travelling in your own private compartment or at reserved table seats, settle back and enjoy a joyful journey through the Severn Valley to Arley Station. Savour a sweet festive treat, soak up the enchanting atmosphere, and share the excitement with family and friends — because Christmas is always better when it’s shared.
New for 2025 – The Great Christmas Train Rescue
On arrival at Arley Station, it’s time for the live show! Every year, Santa’s magical steam train carries presents across the globe, powered by festive cheer and Christmas spirit. But this year, disaster strikes! The sneezy, scheming Victor Von Sneeze has a frosty plan to derail Christmas itself. Luckily, help is on the way. Polly the brave polar bear is hot on the villain’s trail — and she might just be able to melt his icy heart. With Santa himself, two mischievous elves, toe-tapping tunes, and plenty of festive fun, this is a Christmas story like no other!
Created in partnership with Wise Owl Theatre Company, and featuring incredible puppetry by Matthew Forbes — Associate Puppetry Director of the National Theatre’s War Horse — this spectacular show is a true festive feast for the eyes and heart. With music, laughter, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic, The Great Christmas Train Rescue promises to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family.
The Adventure Continues
After the show, your train awaits for the return journey to Kidderminster — with a special surprise on-board! Every child will receive a present from Santa’s team to take home as a keepsake of their magical day. On selected departures, you can also hop off at Bewdley Station to explore the charming riverside town before heading back to Kidderminster later in the day.
