Bald Eagle, Bald Swan and Bald Bullock

Swan Brewery is a microbrewery in Leominster run by husband and wife team Jimmy Swan and Gill Bullock. On Friday 3rd April the hot-headed pair are shaving their heads to raise money for specialist treatment for Multiple Sclerosis which Jimmy’s sister, Vicky Swan, is undergoing. The treatment, HSCT, causes her to lose her hair and, in a show of solidarity, they are going bald both on head and chin.
The nature of the fundraiser has inspired Swan Brewery to name an upcoming new cask ale Bald Eagle. Proceeds from the sale of this 3.5% American Pale Ale are also going into the fundraising pot. Vicky has nominated the charity AIMS Auto Immune and Multiple Sclerosis to be a co-beneficiary of the appeal.
Sponsorship can be given at gofundme.com/f/another-ms-warrior; aimscharity.org or at Swan Brewery. Supporters, viewers and visitors are invited along to the shave off at 4.30pm on Friday 3rd April at Swan Brewery, Leominster Enterprise Park, taking place during the monthly Tasting Day running 9am to 8pm. There will be a wide selection of cask ales, including Bald Eagle, and food from Ted’s Tacos. Vicky Grange of The Barbers Shop on Drapers Lane in Leominster is kindly undertaking the hair and beard cutting.
