MBH is on the move

Local charity and Chamber Member Megan Baker House, who provide help and support for children and adults with conditions such as cerebral palsy and Parkinson’s, has announced big changes in 2020 as they will be re-locating their Leominster facility at Moreton Eye on 31 August 2020, the headquarters for MBH will be in Brightwells at Easter Court and will provide the office space needed. The services will be delivered via outreach centres around Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire. Their Ledbury facility will remain in full use, servicing the south of the counties, north Gloucestershire and beyond.

Lee Gough, Chief Executive, explains “In a difficult financial climate the strength and sustainability of the charity is paramount so although this has been a tough decision we believe we are making it for the right reasons. We have decided not to renew our lease at Moreton Eye, instead focusing our energy into creating a bright future via outreach centres which will reduce greatly our overheads and ensure that even more of our income is spent on helping the children, adults and families to access these life changing sessions.”
