SJL was established in 2001 and the business has grown year on year to be one of the largest and most successful owner owned insurance brokers in the UK. SJL employ over 62 staff and turnover in excess of £17.5 million per year.
SJL are based in the Worcester and the City of London and transact business all over the UK and have clients across the world.
We really are big enough to deliver but small enough to care. The majority of our clients are businesses, and we also offer insurance for consumers too.
SJL underwrite many of our own in-house products where insurers have delegated authority to us, as we are a Lloyds of London cover holder. We have access to the UK’s leading composite insurance market, meaning that SJL can source and place a vast range of comprehensive insurance products at market leading prices.
Our continued success has also been based on recognising, developing and investing in our staff. This has recently been recognised by SJL achieving the much coveted Investors In People accreditation and also becoming an apprenticeship ambassador. We strongly believe that our staff are integral to our success.
