Bromsgrove based IT and ICT managed services company, County Infrastructure Services Ltd (CIS) has announced a full merger with its parent company NETbuilder Ltd.
CIS was part of the ICT delivery function within Worcestershire County Council until it was acquired by NETbuilder Ltd in 2013. Since then, CIS has continued to successfully grow the business by developing a range of new products and services and adding many new customers. The decision to fully merge CIS into NETbuilder was based on this success with the merger taking effect on 1st January 2019.
As a direct result of the merger, CIS has been rebranded NETbuilder Education and has increased its staff numbers having employed apprentices in IT and Digital Marketing as well as a new Sales Manager and an IT support technician.
Andy Kimberlee, NETbuilder Ltd new Managing Director stated that the merger was “great news for staff and customers alike” and added “the merger will enable the company to continue to develop new products and services and attract new customers. It’s also really positive to be able to offer exciting opportunities to young apprentices in IT and Digital Marketing.”
